Verse: Intrusion II

i saw you
at the market

veiled in silk
except for

your sunglasses
and your hands

reaching for
your purse

the only clues
to who you are

framed
in your fingerprints

and i wondered
if you chose your veil

or if it
was imposed upon you

and i wondered
why that should concern me
at all.

  1. You are a groovy guy who has a way with words. Keep it up! And the poem is gorgeous.
