I
I went out
gathering pieces
of the sky
for you

until it hid
behind the clouds

ashamed at my folly
I decided to let them go

after all
what would you do
with pieces of the sky?

you were never one
for grand gestures.

I know that
if I ever
aproach it
I will stumble
into grace

in that moment
of renewal I will be
